Business Card:
The business card is purposefully tacky to draw attention to the designer and design company. The e-mail and address are smaller than the rest of the titles so they are not the main focus. The colored pencils draws the audiences attention to the design company and the design tools help to balance the card, graphically.

Menu:
I restricted the menu to one page so the audience can easily view all of the restaurant's choices without having to turn pages and become disinterested with finding their choice. The menu has a very natural color scheme, something to comfort the audience while deciding and promoting the audience Proxy-Connection: keep-alive

t to be in a hurry while deciding. The menu selections are categorized into the specified groups, using white space to separate the categories. The name and phone number are easily identified, with large text and top placed location, while the next logical flow becomes the food choices. In this way the menu doesn't distract the audience with information that may not be immediately needed. Food choices are bolded, and descriptions use normal text. Category descriptions are italicized and the remainder of the information is located at the bottom of the menu, not to distract the audience.

Grocery List:

The grocery list maintains a simplistic design, so as not to distract the audience with useless information that could make shopping harder or more time consuming. However, items are conveniently categorized into lists that will be found in the same location or department. Number/Letter systems help keep the audience in place while looking around the store and easily being able to come back to the list. White space is left on the left side of the list to allow the user to "check" or "x" the list as he or she goes along.
