Assignment 2

With my autobiography I decided to go with something humorous. I blew up a picture then put a border just around the top and bottom. I then aligned the heading with the teeth and my name is aligned with the chin.

With the invitation I also wanted to do something fun so I went with this bachelorette invite. I used a border around the clipart and then at the top I centered the heading with her hand and "you're invited". And the bottom information I right aligned with her hand and the other side of her skirt.

With my letterhead I went with something really simple. I decided to do a letterhead for a make believe non-profit and just left aligned all the information at the top with the company name standing out in a bold colored lettering and I used lines to set the information off nicely. Then I right aligned a picture at the bottom of the letterhead to give it depth.

With my newsletter I decided to do an international theme and to keep it simple and clean. So I chose a font that I used overall and all the text was left aligned except for "newsletter" which was right aligned and made a  smaller size than the main heading. The subheadings and drop cap in the newsletter were emphasized with color and I aligned everything up with the heading and pictures to give it a very streamlined look!

Alignment ht

I chose to use the right margin as my starting line for my autobiography cover page. I also wanted to use alignment to line to use the left end of the logo as where to line up the title and the left end of the publisher's name as the end of my subtitle.
I used the headphones as the border around the test; I aligned everything in the middle of the headphones and used proximity both intellectual and physical to separate the text and coordinate colors with the headphones.
My strong line of alignment is the microphone. It also points to information which is left aligned with the microphone stand.
I chose to use the colors of a Rubik's cube (without yellow) in this picture. There are lines separating it into three sectors, like the standard 3x3 cube.

Alignment Assignment

I'm a pretty simple person so I tried to show that in my design. I aligned everything on the left hand side.

Obviously pink is my favorite color and Gossip Girl is my favorite TV show so I thought I'd honor my favorite character. I centered everything so it was easy to read.

Alignment Assignment

This one was HARD!! I tried to make everything align with something else. I aligned the P in pride with the edge of the columns below it. The first subtitle is aligned with the top text box and the E at the end of pride in the logo is aligned with the edge of the columns below.

For my letterhead, I created one for a bakery. I love to bake and one day want to own my own bakery! Since the graphic at the top is large I aligned the text to the right and to balance it out I did the opposite to the bottom of the page.

I aligned the word "girls" with the top of the martini glass on the left, "night" with the edge of the glass on the right, and the word "in" with the bottom of the right martini glass. I made use of various borders  and bright colors to make the invite pop!
I aligned the title, subtitle, and publisher symbol all together. Also, the words in the bottom right corner are aligned with the publisher symbol   caption
